New manager Paul Weller has bolstered his squad by signing experienced midfielder, Gary Stopforth.
Stopforth is a box-to-box central midfielder who started his career at Blackburn Rovers – where he earned his first professional deal.
He’s also had spells in America and with Salford City and also Stockport County.
Stopforth first signed for the Reds back in 2018, before his spell was cut short and he was signed by Chester FC management Duo, Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson.
The 36 year old trained with the reds last night and is available for selection this weekend.
