Colne Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Geoff McDougle as the Club's Sporting Director.
Geoff will work alongside Head Coach Nathan Rooney, Colne Football Club's management team and the Club's directors to develop a robust recruitment, development and retention strategy.

McDougle said: "I’m delighted to be here as the Club’s Sporting Director. I’ve known Nathan [Rooney] and the Chairman for a number of years. The Club's ambition is what attracted me and the project excites me. I’ve had some good conversations with the Directors and I’m looking forward to being involved in the Club's progression and the development of the academy section.
Chairman Ryan Haigh added: “Geoff is someone who has plenty of contacts and a lot of experience at different levels of the game. He’s worked under a number of high profile managers including Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, and most recently Derek Adams at Morecambe. He is known by everyone and his input into the football club will benefit everyone from board level down to our Mini Reds.
