Colne Football Club have appointed Sean Howard as Interim Chairman.
The club are extremely grateful to Sean for taking the position at such short notice. Sean, who is also Chairman of Colne F.C. Juniors , alongside being manager of the U18’s and the Ladies team.
Sean will be supported by a strong panel of committee members who strive to
ensuring the Club stature is maintained with work already going on behind the scenes to secure future sponsorship and support for the remainder of the season, and beyond.
On behalf of everybody at the club, we would like to thank Ryan, Kirsty, Martin and Lucy for their time, efforts and financial support during the time they were with the club.
Ryan oversaw a turning point in the club's history, bravely rebranding and driving the club forwards and what followed was the club embarking best ever FA Cup run, a season sadly curtailed with the club top of the tree, all whilst giving fans and volunteers memories to last a lifetime.
Whilst change is always challenging, it is something the football club have navigated successfully previously and will continue to do going forward.
