As Jon Macken looks to manoeuvre his squad, the club can confirm the signing of Kingsley Williams from Widnes FC while Anthony Williams has joined Prescot on loan until the end of the season.
Well known to the Club's management, the 29 year old midfielder, skippered Radcliffe to promotion to the Northern Premier Division under Jon Macken in 2018-19.
Vastly experienced at this level, Kingsley began his career at Sheffield United before moving to Northwich Victoria as a teenager. He then went out to Australia, spending two years playing for Sydney Olympic, before moving to Spanish side Cultural Deportiva Leonesa in the Segunda Division.
He returned to the UK in the summer of 2015, signing for Ilkeston after spending time on trial with Football League sides Crawley Town and Hartlepool United.
Sporting Director Geoff McDougle said “We didn’t want to lose Willo (Anthony) at this moment, but his work commitments dictated he would be unavailable for a number of games. We will however re-address the situation come the end of the season.
We moved quickly to effectively replace him with Kingsley and this signing will again give the squad a boost as we look to move up the league.”
Welcome to the Red Army Kingsley.
