Cuan progresses to the First Team

Colne Football Club are delighted to announce that U21 player, Cuan Bradley has signed first team terms.

Before joining Colne FC U21’s last year, Cuan came from the Burnley Shadow Youth team college programme.

With a little nudge from our U21 team coach Josh Wall, beating off stern competition from other clubs, Cuan opted for the Red of Colne, showing how well our youth setup is thought throughout our neighbouring clubs and more importantly where we currently pitch our talent amongst the region.

Cuan has added competition in the U21’s frontline and both his physicality and sharp shooting talent brought a different dynamic to the team. U21 team manager Pete Ellis was delighted with the lads commitment and signature back in Sept 22.

His Junior days were with Padiham F.C. and more recently with Prairie United First. His scoring powers have been prevalent in the current Cheshire based NWU21 Development League, players statistics. scoring 5 goals in 8 appearances.

Cuan has impressed with Colne’s 1st Team training sessions, overseen by Phil Brown and Geoff ( Mcdougle) warranting a call up and his signature to 1st team action. Cuan will still be available to play Sundays with the U21’s should his 1st Team action not clash.

Everybody at Colne Football Club welcomes Cuan's progression to the first team.
