Colne Football Club can confirm the signing of striker Dean Ing from NWCFL side Squires Gate for an undisclosed fee.
Ing, (24) has signed a 2-year deal with the Reds and subject to FA clearance, will be available for today’s FA Trophy fixture against Tamworth.
Sporting Director Geoff McDougle said “Dean is a player the club has tracked for a number of seasons. He has all the attributes to play at this level and higher and we are delighted he’s agreed to join the club’.
Ing makes the move following 140 appearances for Gate, having scored over 50 goals during a 5 years spell with the Blackpool side.
Ing who passed a medical at the club’s training ground on Thursday evening added ‘I’m delighted to get this opportunity at a club like COLNE’.
I’ve heard all about the gaffer and his coaching style and I can’t wait to get started”.
We would like to thank Squires Gate for their professionalism in this matter and appreciate their efforts to ensure the transfer was concluded in a speedy manor.
Welcome To the Red Army Dean.
