The countdown is on for the first competitive game under the guidance of Phil Brown.
Colne will entertain 1874 Northwich at Holt House, this Saturday, in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.
Originally, Phil Browns side were due to host Fleetwood Town U21's midweek, however, due to our low PPG ratio last season, Colne have to enter the FA Cup at the earliest possible stage and therefore the game has been cancelled to give Phil and the lads time to prepare for the weekends fixture.

For the the forthcoming season, we will no longer be producing a physical matchday programme, however we will be producing a new digital matchday magazine, which will be available on the morning of each game.
A total of 732 clubs will enter the Emirates FA Cup for the 2022-23 season, which kicks off on Saturday 6 August with the extra preliminary round.
Key dates for the diary include the Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 3 June 2023 (Book your hotel now) while the third round proper will take place across the weekend of Saturday 7 January 2023.
The total prize fund will total over £19m in payments to clubs and made to the winners and losers at all stages of the qualifying rounds, but payments will only be made to the winners from the first round proper through to the quarter-final. The winners and losers will each receive a payment in the semi-final and Final.
Replays will be mandatory in all rounds of the qualifying competition and the competition proper from the first round proper up to and including the fourth round proper.
