BREAKING NEWS: NEW CHAIRMEN AT THE REDS

Colne F.C. are delighted to announce the appointment of their new co-chair.

Tonight the committee unanimously agreed to introduce Darren Harrison and Glenn Stock as their new Co-Chairmen.

The towns football team was in a desperate situation, to the extent they were preparing statements to withdraw from the league, impacting the newly formed womens team and the hundreds of kids that represent the club at junior level, until the pair intervened.

Since joining, the pair have come into the club and instantly made an impact, not only on the committee, but the players, management and Staff.

In the short time of being at the club, both Darren and Glenn have completely renovated the clubhouse, which opens its doors on Saturday, offering Sky Sports, BT Sport's & Prime on a giant 80" flat screen, ensuring our fans don't miss a single kick of any game. Not to mention the installation of the much needed draught beer.

During the last 6 weeks the club has been overseen by Sean Howard, who stepped in as Interim Chairman. Sean acted swiftly to ensure the day to day running of the club remained unaffected. The committee appreciate the work that Sean has put in during his time as interim chair, and in recognition of Sean's efforts, he has been voted in as Vice Chairman of the club.

Whilst we await some words from our new chairmen, on behalf of everybody from Colne F.C. would like to welcome both Darren and Glenn to the football club.
