Colne Football Club can announce the signing of central midfielder Anthony Williams who joins the club on loan from Stalybridge Celtic.
Anthony had been part of Fleetwood's Under 18s team since becoming a full-time scholar in 2018 but left the League One side to join Celtic ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Nathan Rooney said “Anthony was a player we looked at in pre season so I’m delighted he’s finally in the Red of Colne. The boy will add competition to our midfield and his work rate will complement the way we play.”
Williams goes straight into the squad for tonight’s game at home against Pontefract!
