Not one, not two, but three new signings...!
Phil Brown has strengthened his squad with the signing of Tom Fagan, Harry Jones and Jack Doherty, before the Reds start their FA Cup campaign this coming Saturday at home to 1874 Northwich.
Defender Tom Fagan had been trialling in the Welsh Premier League following his departure from Kendal Town. Tom is a player that our Manager has been tracking for a while, an attacking full back whose previous clubs include Kendal Town, Lancaster City and Southport, amongst others.
19 year Harry Jones is a competitive midfielder who joins us from AFC Fylde, where he has spent the last three seasons on their full time programme.
19 year old striker Jack Doherty joins The Reds from Accrington Stanley where he has spent the previous 12 years. A local lad from Higham, Jack has a definite eye for goal and Manager Phil Brown is delighted to have secured his signature. Jack will continue to train with Accrington on a daily basis and CEO Geoff McDougle was quick to thank both John Coleman and Jimmy Bell for allowing this young striker to join Colne F.C.
Welcome to the Red Army.
