Tuesday nights victory over City of Liverpool saw 39 year old Glenn Steel make is 700th NPL appearance.
Featuring inside yesterdays digital programme, Steel dominated in defence from start to finsih to ensure the reds saw out their first win of the league campaign.
In a remarkable career at this level, the powerful and dominating centre half has certainly made an impact at the back for Colne F.C. since joining in the summer.
Now Player/Assistant manager with the Reds, Steel has played with AFC Fylde and completed two spells with Bamber Bridge and Lancaster City.
