
Colne F.C. can confirm the signing of striker Alex Samizadeh, on a deal until the end of the season. Iranian born Samizadeh, who scored on his debut for the club in the FA Cup victory over Daisy Hill, has previously played for Bolton Wanderers, Chorley and Kilmarnock. Samizadeh started his career with Bolton Wanderers, progressing through their youth teams. He made his first team debut on 5th April 2016, coming on as a substitute for Kaiyne Woolery at Brentford in the Football League Championship. Head Coach Nathan Rooney said “I’m delighted Alex has committed to the Club. He gives us an extra dimension with his pace. Not only does he score goals, but he creates chances with his work rate.”
