2020-21 Season Ticket Holders & Sponsors Announcement

Last month, we received the disappointing but expected news that the 2020-21 Pitching In Northern Premier League season had been brought to a premature end. It was news we had been anticipating, but that did not make it any less frustrating, especially given our playing record over the initial 9 games.

The Board would like to express their personal, heartfelt thanks to every single fan and sponsor who have financially supported us in what has been a time of great uncertainty for so many.

The unwavering support our entire fan base has shown over the last year has been humbling and only strengthened our desire to improve your match day experience and continue to build and provide a Club we can all be proud of.

We understand the frustrations associated with two ‘part-seasons’, especially the very fluid rules and restrictions we have all had to adhere to.

The maximum supporters, whether that was 200 or 400 packed Harrison Drive on home games - Your loyalty, patience and understanding has been a great help to us.

Special thanks are extended to our loyal volunteer team, without whom we very much doubt any games would have gone ahead at all... We would also like to acknowledge their continued dedication in maintaining the pitch and facilities once the season was brought to a halt, despite their awareness of the potential curtailment.

As you’ll all be very aware, we started the 2020/21 league campaign positively with a very impressive 20 goals scored and only 9 conceded and planning for the 2021-22 campaign has already begun. The board have made no secret of the desire and need, to improve the facilities at Harrison Drive and you will have no doubt seen the exciting plans we have for the development of the ground.

We would like to begin selling season tickets in the near future, but firstly we need to address the issue of season tickets and club sponsorship from the 2020-21 campaign.

To-date we have not had any refund requests, which again demonstrates the huge support we receive from our loyal fan base and business partners.

However, with only five home league games in the 2020-21 season, we were simply unable to fulfil our commitment to have you attend 18 home league matches as we had planned and therefore, all season tickets, unused hospitality and club sponsorship will be rolled over for the 2021/22 season.

We fully appreciate the financial challenges many people are currently facing. However, if you are in a position to waive your rollover and purchase again, it goes without saying that it would be massively appreciated by the club.

Over the last few weeks we have been renegotiating players and back room staff contracts in order to assist with the financial shortfall we will inevitably face. This has again proven that we have a very dedicated squad with a very supportive management structure both on and off the pitch.

As an organisation we will feel the financial effects of Covid for many years to come and we have inevitability had to look very closely at certain areas and consider closely all the new initiatives we had planned for the 2021/22 season. Our revenues, like most clubs, have been decimated during the pandemic while our outgoings have continued, providing us with a whole host of challenges, but we believe exciting times are ahead and we are committed with our ground development plans to making your match day experience better than it has ever been.

Information on 2021-22 season tickets will be released once our planning application is completed. Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Harrison Drive soon.
